Every spring, dotMailer publishes the enormously popular email marketing benchmarking report, called Hitting the Mark.
Work on the 2010-11 report is nearly complete. Two weeks ago our research team, aided by some of our most experienced email marketing consultants and techies, spent a day out of the office assessing and scoring all of this year’s retailers against our tried and trusted set of best practice criteria.
It’s an enjoyable day, and if you’re into email marketing (which we at dotMailer seriously are) it’s a fascinating task to get to read, enjoy and assess in a completely objective way, the email campaigns of some of the UK’s best known and well loved high street retail brands.
Hitting the Email Marketing Mark 2010-11 will be released next month and promises as usual to provide an unmissable expose of high street retailers’ email campaigns and the lessons all email marketers can learn from their successes and mistakes.
