So another week another feature! The dotCommerce team are keeping busy and again have realised yet another feature. This time Loyalty Points! Do you have a Nectar card? Or a Tesco club card? Wouldn’t it be nice to offer the same features on your ecommerce site? Now you can.
The dotCommerce loyalty points allows you to create your own loyalty points scheme. You can set how many points a user earns for every pound they spend and also the value a point is worth when they claim it back. On top of which, dotCommerce gives you the ability to configure if a user can earn or spend their points on VAT, delivery or earn them when redeeming. Using the rule build you can create custom promotions driven around loyalty points including:
