Improved social building blocks (and new menu designs to boot)

To help kick off the New Year, we’ve launched two improvements to the social tools in EasyEditor.

First up – you can now easily insert links to your own social profiles. No more hunting around for a Facebook icon; just drag in the Social Links building block, and enter your profile URLs. What’s more, your profile options are stored from campaign to campaign, so you’ll only need to add them once.

Second up – the Social Sharing building block has also been improved. OK, we changed this towards the end of last year, too, but it wasn’t quite right. We got rid of a confusing dialog box, but the toolbar options that replaced it didn’t work out like we’d hoped. Lesson learned:  all the styling now happens through the nifty side panel.

Lastly, we’ve also turned on our new menus for everyone. We’ve been trialling them for a couple of months, worked on the feedback we received, and thought it was high time we retired the old navigation. We hope you find it easier to find your way around all of dotMailer’s tools.
