Alistair Carmichael, our VP of Sales for North America fills us in on our next east coast appearance.
On August 11-14 2014, Philadelphia’s Marriott Hotel will play host to yet another high profile industry conference – eTail East 2014. A bi-annual eCommerce and multi-channel retail event run separately on East and West coasts, eTail is a major networking and learning hub in America.
Split over four days, eTail’s agenda is aimed at senior level managers within retail – and it is dense with seminars, roundtables as well as a large marketplace of vendors. The focus of the event is heavily upon peer-to-peer learning, allowing execs to benchmark their organization’s success through networking.
There are well over a hundred learning events open to delegates over the week, covering the usual gamut of marketing subjects – growth, attribution, conversion optimization, mobile and of email marketing. Our key highlights include:
- Forrester’s Josh Bernoff (SVP Idea Development), speaking on the mobile mind shift
- Josh Himwich (VP Product) XO Group, presenting on ‘How to beat Amazon!’
- Pet360’s Rose Hamilton (EVP/CMO), speaking on how ‘Customer Engagement is the new Marketing’
- Zappos’ Ash Salleh speaking on killer SEO tactics

This sessions (Monday August 11, 9.25AM and 2.20PM) will be moderated by email marketing rock star, Karen Talavera author of Synchronicity Marketing blog, and one of WE Magazine’s Top 100 Women in eCommerce.
