Here at dotMailer we’re very proud to say we’ve been chosen by the Advertising Association as their sole email technology partner.
Their big annual event was held on 30th January and the dotMailer team played a key part in helping the Advertising Association market and deliver the event.
Highlights of the day for us were the findings of the Association’s published research showing how 99% of UK SMEs generate 50% of UK jobs, 40% of UK turnover but only 18% of UK ad spend.
The research found that the reason behind this lack of spend is that they see it as a cost, as opposed to a benefit, and didn’t feel confident about the subject.
So that recurring message about educating marketers about the value of marketng and advertising and measuring and proving that value, was loud and clear.
