We like to keep Skip, our Client Services Director, as busy as possible. We’re sending him and Team dotMailer down to one of the biggest Multi-Channel Retail Marketing expositions in the UK. Here’s what to expect:
Another day, another trade show – you’d think we were gluttons for punishment, travelling the display halls of the world to ply our thoughts and wares.
This month we are really excited to be attending the Internet Retailing Expo (IRX14) at Birmingham’s NEC, March 26-27.
We’re an event Silver Sponsor and supporting the Digital Sales & Marketing Conference and playing host to a day of great talks from retail market leaders, chaired by Dan Matthews (@dan_matthews), editor at eSellerMedia.com; and Phil Raynor of Ecomsult. See the full program at the end of this post.
IRX14 is one of the biggest dates in the multi-channel marketing trade-show calendar – yep, that’s a mouthful for me too. It’s a great forum for brands to meet, share and discover new ideas, adding to their own digital strategies.
We have a bunch of dotMailer clients that are speaking and exhibiting, many of them doing some really exciting things in the arena of B2C marketing (and with dotMailer too, I might add). Among them are:
- Amy Richardson, from Land Securities, the UK’s largest commercial property company, presenting on designing all-day shopping experiences specific to omni-channel customers
- Doug Glenwright, of TUI Travel presenting a case study on Internet Retailing In Store (IRIS)
Aside from the sponsor keynote speech on Thursday, I’ll be participating in Wednesday’s closing panel discussion and Q&A, in the Customer Journey Experience Conference. Joining other brands such as Fatface, the BBC and Rackspace, we’ll be discussing what new innovations retailers should be focussing and investing in, towards promoting a true omni-channel customer experience.
As ever, we will be live-tweeting highlights and insights from the floor. Follow me on @skipfidura, or keep up with the whole gang on @dotmailer and get involved with the conversions in our theatre on #IRX_Digital. Look out for our storify recap after the show. Tweet from the show and you and your brand could be a contributor.
We will be at Stand B40, next to the Magento Partner Pavillion. Come say ‘hi’ to the team, check out demos of our new product features and integrations – or simply just make a connection. Trade conferences are a great places to start interesting collaborative conversations – all the better if we can be part of yours.
